Ginger Shot Recipe for Congestion

Do you ever wake up with your nose stuffy? Or your voice a little raspy, and chest congested? How about your gut health; would you like to improve it overall?

This juice shot recipe may be great for you to try!

Ginger is a powerful and tasty root that is packed with health benefits. It can also boost the immune system and help protect against colds and flu. Ginger shots are great for the certain enzymes that can help with bloating, help ease constipation and help with nausea.

In this recipe, aside from ginger, I spontaneously added blueberries! They helped to ease the spiciness of the ginger but beware, it still is spicy. Blueberries contain a high content of Vitamin C which can be helpful in treating a cold. High in antioxidants, blueberries are full of flavonoids. Flavonoids can help protect the lining of your lungs from damage. Blueberries are even said to be good for those with asthma because of their anti-inflammatory properties.

Ready to make your daily morning shot and open up your lungs?

1 cup cubed ginger

1/4 lemon

1/4 lime

1 cup of blueberries

Handful of fresh mint

Handful of fresh parsley

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp turmeric

Take about 2-3 tablespoons (or a shot) for 5 days. Cheers!
